What better way to start off our new life together than to nail a bunch of freebies, sweet deals, and cheap stuff galore?!
Our honeymoon according to the Tacks..........
Day one of marital bliss:
4 free round trip tickets to anywhere AirTran flies, good until August 2009
Bumped up to first class, yummy cookies and pretzels. mmm.
free upgrade to mid-size rental car, just for saying no thanks when he asked us if we wanted to pay for it.
ugliest hotel room known to man. teal, pink and pineapples everywhere! but there was still love in the room, that made it all better ;)
Day two:
drove into hollywood blvd look-alike resort
felt like movie stars
amazing suite with private balcony, living room, kitchen, whirlpool tub, shower big enough to fit your whole family (not that you would want to. weird.), washer/dryer, and free soap!
the pirates ripped us off. but we forgive them because of their amazing acrobatic skills
Orlando's tourist trap trapped us at the local "grocery store". $28 for 6 items. grr.
day three:
timeshare numero uno. free breakfast and $100 visa just for saying no. JUST SAY NO!
really good and really expensive deep dish pizza
swimming and the olympics :)
too cloudy for meteor shower :(
day four:
timeshare dos. free breakfast and two epcot tickets for 25 bucks! off to disney for the day! talked to mickey, ran across the world, ate yummy quiche and cheesecake in france, drove a crash-test car, and watched fireworks
danny and rochelle treated us to late night mini-golf!
day five:
batmat at the imax. free popcorn!
wonderworks science place. we flew a fighter jet :)
more olympics and chocolate. mmm
day six:
Jerusalem restaurant
off to the big boat!
lost at beanbag toss
SO MUCH AMAZING FOOOOOOD!
free strawberry daiquiris. yumm
day seven:
breakfast in bed!
scavenger hunt on Carnival cruise. we got a trophy :), well we finally did. after the first one got stolen before we even saw it. :P
our Bahamas "scavenger hunt":
won the raffle for a free watch from Effy's Jewelers
invested in some tanzanite
free one carat midnight sapphire
two free pink sapphire pendants
one free diamond charm bracelet
one free color-changing ring
said no to all the touristy places
refused to tip people just because they were in a picture with us
swam at a very rocky beach
thought the boat left without us. oh wait, that's the other carnival ship. whew!
ate plantain chips. mmm
wandered the streets and found an old church to take pics of
dancing to "that's amore'!" during dinner
MORE AMAZING FOOD!
day eight:
extreme mini golf: hurricane style!
won raffle for 2'x3' work of art
more free art just for going to art auction (we're estimating that we walked away with about $600 worth of art)
salsa and chips :)

day nine:
pick up rental to drive to airport. "economy car" was a supped up chevy cobalt sport with leather interior, sun roof and premium sound system. whoohoo!
home to ohio, with fae close on our heels...
free veggies and card games with aunt pat and uncle mike. slept in the cabin :)
day ten:
four-wheeler drive through the fields
pick up our car
free eggs and more veggies from dad, load up our presents and head to va. :D

more time with the new family!

a round of billiards and a really yummy smoothie
we passed on getting lima beans.

$200 in US Airways vouchers because our luggage was 1 1/2 hours late!
How's that for the first 3 weeks of married life? :)
(ps: there was a lot more to it than that, we just felt the right to brag about how God blessed us during our honeymoon!)
