First, to update you... be praying that God directs me over the summer. The family I work for now (with julia) won't be hiring me full time like I hoped. So with that in mind, I need to start seeking other options and opportunities. I think I will continue on through the summer as things are, allowing God to open and shut doors come the fall. Pray for finances, housing, and jobs/moves or whatever else God may ask of me.
It all started with an overdrafted bank account panic attack, then the news about my job... and then a little soul-searching and trusting that God is in control. And how did he answer me? Well, He's still taking care of me... and gave me a little surprise at the end of the day:

With an hour's notice after getting home from work on Wednesday, Jonathan showed up at the Tyler airport with his flight student, Luke... to take me flying with them down to College Station (near Houston)! A four-seater Beechcraft, the smallest plane I have definitely ever flown in.
How cool is that?
Our first landing at College Station--very smooth take offs and landings. I was impressed.
What a memorable night, and I think God knew I needed it.
The following morning, I found my car with a flat tire. Had to call off work after no luck at keeping any air in it, call roadside assistance and get the spare on, and get it patched up. The place I took it to fixed it for free!!! What a blessing in disguise.
And then shortly after, I got a call from Casey... "want to hop in the semi and ride down to pick up a load today?" Heck, why not... this spontaneity thing has been working so far! So I jump in and we head out to Scottsville.

So there you have it. An ordinary week turned extraordinary.
This weekend will packed as well... my roommate's birthday, an airshow, the planetarium, friends, church, homecooked food, and the zoo!
And when I step back and look at all this, all I can say is, "wow, God must really love me. in the midst of every set back, he was working... and never left me hanging."
