my first cultural event in Tyler

My friend Sarah (who I first met when we went to Papua New Guinea together) is a dancer, and invited me to her final dance recital at Tyler Junior College last week. It was for all the dance and music departments, so I got to see a lot of piano, singing, brass quartets, and dance of all genres. The pictures didn't work like I had hoped because A) I'm still learning how to deal with low light and B) I didn't want to use flash because I thought it wasn't allowed during the program.
But this picture turned out sort of cool so I thought I'd post it :)


I feel much more cultural now... I should do stuff like this more often, it was pretty cool. (And Sarah did AMAZING!)
